Using Google Meet for Video Conferencing

1. Start a video meeting.
Enter https://drive.esf.edu in any browser.
To initiate a meeting, log in using your ESFiD at the top right corner of the screen and then select Start a new meeting.
Once the Meeting is active, you may invite attendees via ESF email address to send a link or copy the meeting URL/phone information and distribute these through the method of your choice.
To start a meeting on a mobile device, open the Meet app on your Android (Play Store) or Apple® iOS® (App Store) mobile device.
2. Join a video meeting. Click the Meet meeting link in a text or email. In Meet, join a scheduled meeting or use a meeting code. Open the Calendar event or meeting invite to dial in to a meeting from a phone.
3. In-Meeting Controls While in a meeting, you can use the chat feature to have live chat between attendees that are present in the room on a computer. Note: this is a chat that is visible to all attendees.
Select the Chat icon in the top right corner to open the chat window
Icons in the bottom of the window allow you to mute your microphone, end the call, and mute your camera, respectively
You may present your screen, either in its entirety, or specify a certain window on your computer using the Present Now button All other settings can be found by selecting the 3 vertical dots to the right of Present Now.
