What You Need to Know Before Using a Computer
• All public PCs at ESF require users to login using their ESFiD username and password; when asked, enter this information to gain access to public computing resources at ESF.
• All public PCs are regularly erased, including user files. Do note store your data on the computers. Store files in OneDrive. For large files that get used with specialized programs (GIS, CAD, etc.), it is recommended that you download or move the file from OneDrive to the computer's desktop or C drive prior to working. Once you have finished working, move the files back into OneDrive.
ESF Students also have access to Syracuse University Computer Labs. More information about SU's computer labs can be found at https://answers.syr.edu/display/ITHELP/ITS+Computer+Labs.
